From Our Pastor

I count it a pleasure to be the pastor of the fellowship of Tuxedo First Baptist Church. I pray that as we continue this ministry that we work toward accomplishing three things as our goal.


First, we should have a desire to evangelize souls. We should pray that souls will be saved. We should be willing vessels to be used by the Lord to bring people to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.


Secondly, we should encourage souls. This life is filled with so many unpleasant circumstances and we need encouragement and comfort from each other. Let's work together to be a blessing to those who are hurting. After all, the Lord's Church is to be a hospital for the hurting to help bring healing.


Finally, not only should our goal be to evangelize souls and to encourage souls, but also to educate souls. We are to teach and preach the inspired Word of God. The Bible id the way for all to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord. Implementing the principles of God's Word shields us from many problems and pains that we would otherwise have to face.


The Scripture comforts us, challenges us, corrects us, and is the course for the Christian in this life. I pray that the Lord will use us as a fellowship to accomplish all of these things as we work together.
